Baixa Dos Badejos lies off Santa Maria, the southernmost island of the Azores archipelago in the mid-Atlantic. Dive sites around Santa Maria are typically reached by boat from the harbor at Vila do Porto, over the volcanic reef structures scattered along this part of the island's coast.
