About this site
Just off Cartagena’s coast lies a sunken 18th-century Spanish galleon, now a thriving artificial reef. The wreck rests at 12 meters, perfect for all skill levels. Schools of grunts and snappers dart through its wooden beams, while moray eels peek from crevices. Coral encrusts the hull, attracting octopuses and lobsters. Visibility averages 15 meters, with gentle currents ideal for exploration. The shallow depth allows long bottom times to admire its history and marine life. Nearby sandy patches host stingrays gliding past. A must-dive for wreck lovers and photographers.
