Barra de Fenals lies just off Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava, in the province of Girona along Catalonia's Mediterranean coast. The site sits near Fenals beach, a small cove west of the main town, in the rocky coastal waters typical of this stretch of shoreline. It reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres, and divers have reported barracuda and scorpionfish among the rocky terrain.
