About this site
Barra De Las Canteras sits along the coast of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands, close to the city of Las Palmas and its well known Playa de Las Canteras beach. This stretch of coastline is volcanic in origin, with rocky reef structure typical of the island's northern shore. The site is a beginner dive reaching a maximum depth of around 8 metres, making it an easy option close to shore. Divers here have reported damselfish and wrasse around the reef.
