About this site
Tolandona sits on Kaledupa island within Wakatobi Regency, part of the Wakatobi archipelago off southeast Sulawesi, an area bordered by the Banda Sea and known for its extensive reef systems. The site called Barracuda lies along this stretch of coast, accessed by boat from the surrounding Wakatobi dive operations. It reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated a beginner dive, and divers have reported barracuda passing through the site.
