About this site
Sangiang Island sits in the Sunda Strait between Java and Sumatra, Indonesia, an area shaped by volcanic activity from nearby Anak Krakatau. Batu Mandi Utara lies off the island's northern shore, reached by boat from the small harbors along the Java coast that serve local dive operations in the strait.
