Ben's Dive

Ben's Dive sits along the reef fringing Roatan, an island in Honduras's Bay Islands within the Mesoamerican Reef system. The waters here drop off from shallow reef flats into the deeper Caribbean, typical of dive sites strung along the island's north and west coasts, reached by short boat rides from operators based in West End and West Bay. Divers here have reported banded coral shrimp and Caribbean Christmas tree worms tucked into the coral, along with stoplight and striped parrotfish, four-eyed butterflyfish, longspine squirrelfish, and indigo hamlets moving over the reef. Common lionfish have also been spotted on the site, as they have throughout much of the Caribbean.
