About this site
Big Reef in Turkey's Aegean Sea offers vibrant marine life and dramatic underwater topography. The site features steep walls covered in colorful sponges and soft corals, dropping to sandy slopes. Schools of damselfish, groupers, and occasional barracuda patrol the area. Visibility is excellent, often exceeding 30 meters, with mild currents ideal for drift diving. The reef's pinnacles attract octopuses and moray eels, while deeper sections reveal ancient amphorae. Warm, clear waters make it suitable for all skill levels, with depths ranging from 10 to 40 meters.
