About this site
Seal Rocks sits on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, near the town of the same name and within the Myall Lakes area, marking a rocky headland that juts into the Tasman Sea. Big Seal Rock refers to one of the offshore rock formations that give the area its name, reached by boat from the small settlement nearby. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 26 metres, is rated a beginner dive, and typically offers great visibility. Nurse sharks are a regular sighting here, and divers have also reported sea turtles around the rock.
