Black Coral is a reef site off Punta Uva, on the Caribbean coast of Limon province south of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, typically reached by boat from operators around Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo. It reaches a maximum depth of about 30.5 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported strong currents here, and sightings have included bull sharks, eagle rays, mobula rays, nurse sharks, and sea turtles.
