About this site
Black Rock lies along the north coast of East Timor, on the Wetar Strait side of the island facing out toward the Banda Sea. This stretch of coastline near Dili is known for steep volcanic drop-offs close to shore, with small fishing communities scattered along the shoreline. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an intermediate dive.
