About this site
Paxi is a small island in the Ionian Sea south of Corfu, known for a coastline of limestone cliffs, sea caves, and clear inshore waters. Sites referred to locally as blue grottoes or blue caves are typically shallow caverns cut into these cliffs, reached by small boat from Gaios or the other harbor villages on the island.
