About this site
Kayangel is Palau's northernmost atoll, separated from the main Rock Islands and Koror by a considerable stretch of open water, and its reefs are reached by boat from the small local community rather than from operators based further south near Koror. The Blue Hole here is a cave site with a maximum depth of around 30 metres, rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported angelfish, grouper, jacks and amberjacks, lionfish, sea turtles, and triggerfish around the site.
