Blue Hole

The Blue Hole sits off the west coast of Guam near Orote Point, close to other well-known Guam sites such as the Crevice and Turtle Rock. It is a vertical shaft that opens into the reef and connects through tunnels to the outer wall, where divers drop from the sinkhole entrance down through the opening to open water along the drop-off. Depths run from the shallow reef top down past 30 metres as the passage exits onto the wall, and the swim through the tunnel and the depth involved make it a dive suited to experienced divers. Reef fish, occasional pelagics, and good visibility typical of Guam's west side are commonly reported, with the interior tunnel offering a swim-through experience distinct from the open reef diving nearby.
