About this site
Bonito is a dive site off Batangas, in the Verde Island Passage area of the Philippines, a region known for its dense concentration of dive sites along the coast facing the Verde Island strait. The reef here reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated a beginner dive, with visibility generally reported as good. That combination of shallow depth and clear water makes it an accessible site within a stretch of coast better known overall for its sheer density of diving.
