About this site
Boulder Bank is a natural gravel spit stretching along the entrance to Nelson Haven, on the northern coast of New Zealand's South Island. It shelters Nelson's harbor from Tasman Bay and is a well known geographic feature of the area, marked at its end by the Nelson lighthouse.
