About this site
The wreck of Braga 1938 lies off Normandy's coast in the English Channel. This German freighter sank during WWII and now rests at 30 meters, encrusted with marine life. Strong currents bring excellent visibility, revealing schools of pollock and conger eels hiding in the wreckage. The intact hull offers penetration opportunities for advanced divers. Best dived at slack tide. Cold water requires proper thermal protection. Nearby reefs host lobsters and crabs. A compelling mix of history and marine biodiversity.
