The Bullshark Site lies off the Quintana Roo coast of Mexico, along the Caribbean shoreline near Playa del Carmen, an area known for seasonal bull shark encounters. It reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Bull sharks are a confirmed presence here, and divers have also flagged them as a hazard to be aware of on this site.
