About this site
Bungalow Bay lies along the coast of Phuket in southern Thailand, within the Andaman Sea, close to the island's popular west and east coast dive hubs, from which local boats commonly run short trips out to nearby bays and reefs. The site sits over a reef bottom to a maximum depth of around 25 metres, with light current and great visibility, making it a beginner dive. Divers have reported barracuda, cuttlefish, moray eels, octopus, and stingrays here, along with an array of smaller reef life including nudibranchs, seahorses, ghost pipefish and ornate ghost pipefish, lionfish, scorpionfish, parrotfish, pufferfish, snapper, and surgeonfish.
