Cabo Gros lies along the Costa Brava coastline in Catalonia, near the town of L'Escala at the southern edge of the Cap de Creus area. This stretch of the Catalan coast is characterized by rocky headlands and small coves that drop into the Mediterranean, with several dive operators based in the nearby coastal towns.
