About this site
Cabo Negro lies on the Costa Blanca coast in Alicante province, in southeastern Spain along the Mediterranean. The headland's dark rock formations give the point its name, and it sits within the stretch of coastline popular with dive operators working out of the Alicante area. The site has a rocky bottom, reaches a maximum depth of around 19 metres, and is rated a beginner dive with great visibility. Barracuda and grouper are regularly seen here, and divers have also reported damselfish, dentex, eagle rays, mola mola, nudibranchs, octopus, seahorses, and wrasse.
