About this site
Cades Reef sits off the western coast of Antigua, part of a long stretch of reef running parallel to the shoreline that is often cited as one of the largest reef systems in the region. It reaches a maximum depth of around 5 metres, making it a beginner dive suited to those with limited experience or divers looking for an easy, shallow site. Divers here have reported nudibranchs, nurse sharks, and octopus along the reef.
