Cala dei Turchi lies along the coastline of the Tremiti Islands, an archipelago in the Adriatic Sea off the Gargano coast of Puglia, with this particular inlet found near Capraia Island. The Tremitis sit within a marine protected area and are typically reached by boat from ports along the Gargano promontory, such as Termoli or Rodi Garganico. The islands are known for their rocky coves and clear Adriatic waters, of which this cove is one small inlet. The dive here reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated intermediate.
