Cala Morell is a small, protected bay situated north of Ciutadella, Menorca, with a depth range of 2 to 25 metres over a sandy bottom. The site is characterised by numerous caves, swim-throughs, and interesting finds scattered across the seabed, including old broken amphorae and seashells, making it an exploratory and relaxed dive rather than a demanding one.
The bay's sheltered position keeps conditions calm, and the dive is well suited to beginners. Water temperature ranges from 20 to 25°C, and the best season runs from June to October. Current is light and visibility is good.
Marine life at Cala Morell includes starfish, octopuses, anemones, and sea spiders, alongside colourful fish and other surprises among the rocky features and sandy floor.
