Cala Murta lies near the northern tip of Mallorca, close to the Formentor peninsula in the Balearic Islands, with boats typically launching from the nearby Port de Pollença area to reach dive spots along this shore. This stretch of coastline is marked by limestone cliffs and clear inlets, and the wreck site here sits at a shallow maximum depth of around 12 metres. Divers have reported long-snouted seahorses, mauve stinger jellyfish, and octopus around the wreckage, along with Mediterranean red coral, violescent sea whip, and yellow and white gorgonians on the surrounding rock.
