Cala Rayo sits along the Mediterranean coast of southeastern Spain, in the Murcia region near Cartagena. It is a shallow dive site over a rocky bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 6 metres, and is considered suitable for beginners. Divers have also reported octopus in the area.
