About this site
Calvin's Crack is a swim-through on the East End of Roatan, Honduras, near the Jonesville community, and a well-known site on the island. The elbow-shaped crevice was shaped by ancient volcanic activity. It starts at about 9 m (30 ft) and descends to about 24 m (80 ft), where it opens onto the face of the wall. You swim through the long fissure past rock formations and marine life.
Schooling silversides fill the crack, and sharp-eyed divers may spot an elusive toadfish.
