About this site
Calypso Reef sits in the Saronic Gulf off the coast of Attica, in the sea area southeast of Athens known as Saronikos. This stretch of coastline is dotted with small rocky reefs and islets typically accessed by boat from the surrounding Attic ports. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers here have reported barracuda, grouper, octopus, and nudibranchs along the reef.
