Caracol Barrier Reef lies off the northern coast of Haiti, near Caracol Bay in the Nord department, an area fronting the Atlantic side of the country along the Windward Passage approaches. The reef reaches a maximum depth of around 12 metres and is generally treated as an intermediate dive.
