About this site
Carlisle Bay Marine Park sits on the southwest coast of Barbados, just off Bridgetown, and is a protected marine area containing several shipwrecks in a fairly compact stretch of water. The bay is sheltered, which makes it a popular spot for boat and snorkel access from the capital. Diving here reaches a maximum depth of around 10 metres and is rated a beginner site, well suited to the calm conditions inside the bay. Divers have also reported angelfish and parrotfish among the wrecks.
