Carnoch Bay lies near Ballachulish in Highland, Scotland, on the shores of Loch Leven close to where it meets Loch Linnhe. This part of the west Highlands is known for its sea lochs, with steep hillsides dropping into deep, sheltered water near the old slate-quarrying village of Ballachulish. As a shore dive here, the loch bed drops away quickly to a maximum depth of around 50 metres, and the site is rated advanced.
