Cascades

Cascades lies along Bloody Bay Wall off the north coast of Little Cayman, one of the well-known wall sites in this stretch of protected marine park. The site takes its name from the way sand and coral spill over the lip of the wall, giving a cascading effect as the drop-off falls away into deep water just off the reef crest. The reef top sits at around 12 metres, matching the shallow depth confirmed for the site, before the wall drops off sharply into the blue. Expect sponges, gorgonians, and reef fish along the wall face, with the chance of larger pelagics passing by. Because the site combines a shallow reef top with a sheer dropoff, buoyancy control and depth awareness matter near the edge, though the reef crest itself is manageable for less experienced divers who stay well back from the lip.
