About this site
This stunning underwater cave off Paxi Island features dramatic light beams piercing through its arched entrance. Swim through a cathedral-like chamber with walls covered in colorful sponges and corals. Schools of damselfish and bream dart between rock formations, while octopuses hide in crevices. The cave's shallow depth and calm conditions make it ideal for relaxed exploration. Exit to open water where occasional barracuda patrol the blue. Visibility often exceeds 20 meters in these clear Ionian waters.
