Cathedral Reef lies along the coast of the Paphos district in southwestern Cyprus, an area known for limestone rock formations that have eroded into arches, swim-throughs and cavern-like chambers just offshore. Dive sites in this stretch of coastline are typically reached by boat from Paphos harbour. Divers here have reported dusky spinefoot, European parrotfish, Mediterranean damselfish, ornate wrasse, Red Sea goatfish, rivulated rabbitfish, and tufted ghost crab moving among the rock formations.
