About this site
Catrapona lies along the Atlantic coastline near Sesimbra, in the Setubal district southwest of Lisbon, on the stretch of coast where the Arrabida hills meet the sea. The area is known for its rocky shoreline and clear coastal waters, with several dive sites reached by boat from the town's fishing harbour. Divers at Catrapona have reported Atlantic horse mackerel and Atlantic mackerel moving through the site.
