About this site
Cave Reef sits along the Red Sea coast within Qesm Shlatin, a remote stretch of the Red Sea Governorate in southern Egypt, well south of the more heavily trafficked dive hubs near Marsa Alam. The area is accessed mainly by boat given the sparse coastal development this far south. Divers here have reported Aqaba cardinalfish, jewel damsels, and twotone dartfish around the reef, along with occasional sightings of common bottlenose dolphins passing through the area.
