Cayman Salvage Master

The Cayman Salvage Master lies off Key West in the Florida Keys, sunk in the mid 1980s as an artificial reef after use as a salvage vessel. It sits upright on a sand bottom in roughly 90 feet of water, with the hull rising to within about 60 feet of the surface, making it accessible to divers with some wreck experience. The wreck attracts a mix of reef fish and larger pelagics that pass through the area, and its structure is largely intact, allowing for exploration around and partly inside the hull. Visibility around Key West wrecks is often good, but depth and occasional current mean it suits divers beyond beginner level.
