About this site
This wreck dive off Dakar features the sunken French warship Charbonnier, resting at 30 meters. The intact hull attracts schools of barracuda, groupers, and occasional reef sharks. Strong currents create drift diving conditions, best suited for advanced divers. Visibility varies but often reaches 15 meters. The wreck's structure hosts vibrant coral growth and offers swim-throughs. Nearby reefs add to the dive's diversity. Water temperatures range from 20-26°C depending on season.
