About this site
Charco Del Palo is a small coastal settlement on the northeast coast of Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands, known for its black volcanic rock shoreline. Diving here takes place along the exposed Atlantic coastline typical of this part of the island, with entry points set among the lava rock formations near the village. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated intermediate. Divers have also reported underwater tunnels and caves formed in the volcanic rock, features consistent with the lava terrain along this stretch of coast.
