Chimneys

Chimneys sits on the reef system off Roatan in Honduras's Bay Islands, reached by a short boat ride from local dive operations. The name comes from swim-through chimney-like formations and crevices cut into the coral, letting divers pass from the shallower reef top down toward the wall. It is rated a beginner dive with a maximum depth of around 15 metres, keeping most of the swim-throughs and reef top well within easy limits. Divers have reported angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, and moray eels around the coral heads, along with occasional eagle rays passing over the sand.
