About this site
Chorister’s Rock offers a thrilling drift dive along a submerged pinnacle in Otago’s cool Pacific waters. Strong currents attract schools of blue cod, barracuda, and occasional dolphins. The rock’s steep walls are draped in colorful sponges and kelp forests, creating a dramatic underwater landscape. Visibility often exceeds 20 meters, making it ideal for spotting pelagics. Best suited for experienced divers due to the challenging conditions.
