About this site
Cinto lies along the Caribbean coastline of Magdalena department in Colombia, within the stretch of coast near Tayrona National Natural Park east of Santa Marta. This part of the coast is marked by rocky headlands and small bays backed by dry forest hills, with the reef site sitting near the beach and cove of the same name, reached by boat or trail from nearby coastal towns. The dive itself is rated a beginner site.
