About this site
CJ's Drop Off is a wall dive site in Utila, Honduras, defined by an impressively steep drop-off that plunges to beyond 140 ft (42.7 m). Swimming along the wall puts open blue water on one side and a vibrant reef face on the other. The top of the reef ranges from 20 ft to 45 ft, with numerous sand channels running through the shallower areas.
The reef holds Spotted Eagle Rays, Barracudas, Moray Eels, and Sea Turtles. The varied terrain of the wall and the sandy shallows above provide habitat across different depth ranges.
The site is rated intermediate, suited to divers with enough experience to handle wall diving and depths reaching 140 ft (42.7 m).
