About this site
Clifton Gardens is a sheltered bay on the harbour side of Mosman, on Sydney's lower north shore, within Sydney Harbour National Park. The netted swimming enclosure and calm, protected waters of the bay make it a popular spot for shore diving and snorkelling close to the city. It is a beginner site over reef to around 10 metres, and seahorses are a regular find here. Divers have also reported cuttlefish, nudibranchs, and octopus around the bay.
