About this site
Coral Gardens sits along the coast of Efate, the main island of Vanuatu in the South Pacific, in the Melanesian island chain. Efate's shoreline offers a mix of fringing reef sites typically reached by short boat trips from Port Vila or nearby coastal villages. Divers here have reported bignose unicornfish, blackback anemonefish, blue Linckia sea stars, freckled hawkfish, sixbar wrasse, spiny chromis, and titan triggerfish around the reef, along with sightings of Pacific bullethead parrotfish and even dugong.
