About this site
Santa Teresa di Gallura sits at the northern tip of Sardinia, facing the Strait of Bonifacio between the island and Corsica. The coastline here is granite headland typical of the Gallura region, with Corallo Rosso reached by boat from the town's harbor out into the strait's mixed currents and rocky bottom. Divers here have reported cushion coral, European spiny lobster, mauve stinger jellyfish, violescent sea-whip, and yellow cluster anemone along the rock.
