About this site
Crash Boats lies in the Caribbean Sea off the western coast of Puerto Rico, near the town of Aguadilla. The area takes its name from a nearby former air force base beach used to launch rescue boats for downed pilots, and the coastline here is characterized by rocky points and small bays typical of Puerto Rico's northwest shore. The dive site itself sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 12 metres, making it a beginner dive. Divers here have reported octopus, seahorses, and squid among the reef life.
