Da Bai Sha

Da Bai Sha sits on the coast of Green Island, a small volcanic island off the southeastern coast of Taitung County, Taiwan, in the Pacific Ocean. The name translates roughly to Big White Sand, referring to the sandy stretch of shoreline nearby, but underwater the site is a wall dropping to around 50 metres and rated technical. Divers have reported strong current and a steep drop off here, so it demands respect for depth and current management. Barracuda, damselfish, trevally, manta rays and even whale sharks have been reported along the wall, though sightings of the larger pelagics are not something to count on every dive.
