Dakit-Dakit

Dakit-Dakit sits off Malapascua Island at the northern tip of Cebu, within the channel waters between the island and its neighboring islets, an area of scattered rock and reef formations reached by short boat trips from the island's dive resorts. The reef here tops out at a maximum depth of around 13.2 metres, making it a beginner site, though current can run strong through the channel. Jacks and amberjack, nudibranchs, pipefish, and seahorses are all regular sightings on the reef. Divers have also reported barracuda, frogfish, fusiliers, glassfish, moray eels, octopus, snapper, squid, and tuna passing through.
