About this site
Dam Island, or Hon Dam Ngoai, sits off Phu Quoc in Kien Giang province, in the Gulf of Thailand off the southwestern coast of Vietnam. Dive operators based in Phu Quoc's south run trips to the small island cluster in this area, diving a reef site that reaches a maximum depth of around 35 metres. Divers have reported angelfish, clownfish, fusiliers, octopus, parrotfish, seahorses, and snapper around the reef here.
